AAA Hockey

We will have teams for birth years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018. All skill levels are welcome to tryout and be a part of the team.

This is a AAA spring program that runs from late March through September.

We are based out of Minot, ND. Most teams will hold practices in Minot. Teams will attend tournaments in Manitoba, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Saskatchewan.

Each team will set its own practice schedule. The intent is for 10-15 hours of practice ice for each team. We will do our best to set practice times that work for players that would need to travel to attend.

Each team will attend 2-6 tournaments. They will play anywhere from 10-30 tournament games for the season.

Jerseys are made by K1. They are custom sublimated home and away jerseys with coordinating socks and pant shells. This will be an additional expense to the player.

The Bakken Oilers are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We do everything we can to keep it affordable for families that would like to participate in our program. The largest expense is the cost to travel and stay in hotels. We collect $50 / player to cover costs of maintaining the website, accounting, and additional professional fees. Other than that the tournament entry fees and ice time fees are split among the players on each team.
