Bakken Oilers Ready to Open 2026 Season
The 2026 Bakken Oilers season is here, and our teams are ready to get back on the ice.
From the 2015 group through our younger 18/19 teams, the Oilers are set for a busy spring and summer filled with strong competition, player development, and exciting tournament weekends across the region.
The 2015 team opens with the Portage Cup in Portage la Prairie, with additional stops later this season at the Morden Cup and Warrior Cup. The 2016 team begins with the Wild West Tournament in Bismarck before heading to Winnipeg, Brandon, and St. Cloud later this year. The 2017 team also opens in Bismarck and will continue its season with events in Brandon, Winnipeg, and St. Cloud. Public team schedules are available on the Bakken Oilers website. Our younger teams are also getting started. The 18/19 group is scheduled for games on Saturday, March 28, and the 2018 team is set for games on Sunday, March 29, helping round out an exciting opening stretch for the Oilers.
Every new season brings fresh energy, new goals, and the chance to compete against top programs from across North Dakota, Minnesota, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. We’re excited to watch all Bakken Oilers teams hit the ice and represent the program this season.
